I had a good three-night stay at Hotel R9 The Yard Tokoname, enjoying the unique concept of rooms crafted from shipping containers which gave off a stylish, modern vibe. The location was fantastic, being a short walk from local eateries, beautiful pottery studios, and even the beach. However, the lack of nearby amenities can make it a bit tricky, especially since it took about 7-10 minutes to reach the nearest shop. Overall, it was a great experience and I definitely wish I had more time to explore Tokoname.
